Eco-friendly lake pigment from sappanwood: Adsorption study and its application as natural colorant for natural rubber toy balloon

چکیده

Due to the awareness of impact synthetic dye on human health and environment, natural lake pigment have attracted considerable attention from researcher. Herein, pink−red sappanwood was prepared using adsorption approach. The effects initial pH, pH concentration brazilein solution, dosage aluminium hydroxide, time were also explored. Results showed that maximum capacity 30 mg g-1 achieved when 0.25%w/v hydroxide 100 L-1 solution applied. kinetics isotherm fitted pseudo second order model Langmuir isotherm, respectively. Additionally, this can be utilized as a colorant for rubber toy balloons, which could made balloon safer children than dye. Thus, our an alternative choice safe environmental friendly products including toys.
